Challenge

Scanditron developed the eCabinet touchscreen application for managing a physical repository of PCB production templates. The legacy system generated operational errors and production risks.

Scope of cooperation

  • design UX for an industrial touchscreen environment (glove interaction),
  • minimise user errors and operational risks,
  • create structured documentation for engineering teams.

Implementation

SFERA LDZ:

  • analysed production workflows and critical risk points,
  • mapped user journeys and operational flows,
  • designed high-contrast, oversized UI components for factory conditions,
  • implemented error-prevention UX mechanisms,
  • delivered comprehensive UX / UI documentation.
