Parental separation is an extremely difficult time for both parents and, above all, for their children. The Committee for the Protection of Children’s Rights, a non-governmental organization, organized an information campaign promoting standards for the appropriate treatment of children during this difficult process.
As the Committee’s partner in implementing the campaign, we were tasked with building awareness of the issue among the target group, developing and implementing a communication and visual identification strategy, and managing online activities.
Together with the Committee for the Protection of Children’s Rights, we developed the concept and design and created an online library of useful materials to help people navigate difficult situations.
With the mental health of the recipients of this content in mind, we also developed guidelines for authors regarding the language they should use.
We also developed a visual identity and created a set of illustrations, the atmosphere of which aims to calm emotions and gently familiarize the presented topic.
The full scope of work included:
The initiative of the Committee for the Protection of Children’s Rights has generated enormous interest – information about the project reached several thousand people, several hundred people participated in online meetings, dozens of law firms from across the country participated in the competition, and many family judges use the Separation Standards list in their proceedings.
The campaign received widespread media coverage and attracted the attention of many professionals involved in the separation process and the relationship with children in this context: lawyers, mediators, psychologists, legal advisors, judges, and teachers.
It’s incredibly comforting to manage a large project knowing that there’s someone you can count on at any time, someone who knows how to get out of a difficult situation, and someone who will give you the assurance that everything will be done right and on time. Thanks to SFERA’s creativity and commitment, the Good Separation Academy reached the right people and spoke to them in the right language.
